Custom photoshoot designed to document your life at the moment. Approximately 60-90 minutes at a location around San Antonio or in your home. My focus is on capturing interaction, and I deliver large galleries that include a lot of love and fun and not many posed smiles.
Returning clients get $200 off their creative fee.
A few weeks after our session, you'll receive access to your gallery where you can see all of your beautiful edited images. You don't have to decide whether you want just some or all of your images until you're able to see them.
Your digital image package will include downloads of both websize and full resolution versions of your images with personal printing rights. You can use these pictures online, archive them digitally, and print unlimited copies on your own.
This is completely optional, as you can use your digital files to have your own prints and products made. But if you want access to the best quality products and want someone to do the heavy lifting of designing and ordering for you, this is a service I love to offer. After all, you didn't invest in this experience for these memories to only live on your hard drive.
Printed products include loose and fine art prints that will be available through your gallery, heirloom albums, accordion mini books, acrylic prints, and more.

Just a little. I can definitely do that too, and that's $1650. But that's a big investment, and I know I'd be a little nervous to commit to that without really knowing how things are going to even turn out! I break up the fee so you have a chance to see the outcome before deciding if you just want some pictures or if you want them all. My galleries are robust and most clients buy all...but this gives you options.
I also put a lot of time and energy into photoshoots outside of the actual hour we're together. The actual shoot constitutes a very small percentage of my time and energy! The creative fee ensures that I am compensated at least a little bit for that time if a client was to cancel at the last minute or choose to not purchase any images, which is your right if you just really don't like anything I deliver. But don't worry - I've never had that happen and don't intend to!
No, I am not a mini-session photographer. And if you just want a couple nice updated pictures, I'm probably not the photographer for you.
My style is to tell a story and I love all the sweet little moments and details. I deliver a lot of pictures. There will be a couple pictures of everyone looking and smiling at the camera, but that is not what you're hiring me for if it's a shoot for multiple people (senior pictures and solo maternity portraits, which I also absolutely love, are obviously different in this regard!).
Not every singe picture will end up framed on wall, but my goal is to give you a gallery that tells the story of what life is like right now. I want you to be able to flip through an album of this session 10 or 20 years later and be able to be transported back, to FEEL the memories. If that's not what you're after, that's totally fine! Luckily there are tons of photographers that do what you're looking for. Just not me!
I love collaborating with clients and want each photoshoot to be custom and showcasing the beauty of your unique family and stage of life. However, I do have a consistent style, both in how I shoot and how I edit. It's important to really look through a photographer's work and make sure you love their style. Pay attention to how they edit and make sure you'll be happy with that look 10 years down the road (there are always editing trends that look dated by that time). If you don't really love my style, that's fine! But I won't change how I shoot and edit to match another style, so be sure you're happy with mine!
As for getting certain poses or types of shots, I definitely want to hear your ideas and am happy to look at a few inspiration photos to get a general idea of what you have in mind. I always ask clients if they have something specific they want captured and am happy to do that. The session is for you! But you're also hiring me because you love what I do. I've found that the more time I spend trying to re-create something else, the less I end up liking the outcome of the whole shoot. Each session unfolds differently and when I can just roll with it, that's when I do my best work.
Yes! After your order is put in, you will receive access to my professional lab through an online shop through your gallery. There you can purchase loose photographic or fine art prints of the digital images you purchased to fill frames around your house or to gift to relatives. You can also share the gallery and shop with family members who can purchase prints for themselves.
Yes, I am happy to offer a few different options for payment plans. Products and files will be delivered once they are paid for in full. Just ask if you want to talk about some options.
