I focus a lot on babies and families...but I just can't quit my San Antonio Seniors. I love working with seniors. You're all in such an exciting (and crazy and stressful) season of life. They're on the precipice of adulthood and you're soaking up every last moment before it hits. Senior pictures are a beautiful celebration of the unique young adult your baby has grown into. Mariana loves sunflowers and it was fun to incorporate some of these into her beautiful senior picture session just south of downtown San Antonio. We got so much variety out of this one great location. The San Antonio River flowing through it is my favorite part of all.

Your boy....I know senior pictures aren't exactly the highlight of his senior year. But if he'll do these for you, I promise to make it as quick and painless as possible.
While most of my work stays really consistent, I tend to shoot and edit slightly differently for the guys. Usually there's just a bit more contrast and edge and grain. Not over the top, because that isn't me...but not usually as light and glowy as I do for the girls. Take a look to see.

When Pilar told me she wanted to incorporate her favorite classic novels into her pictures, I jumped at the chance to photograph her senior pictures at a beautiful San Antonio library...that also happens to be housed in an old estate on lovely grounds. I love collaborating with you and your senior to learn what they love and figure out how we can capture their personality.

After you've looked around here to get your initial questions answered and you know you like my style, your next step is to fill out the contact form below to reach me. I'll get back to you within 24 hours (if it's the weekend, you'll hear from me Monday). If you don't get a response in 24 hours, check your spam folder.
We can chat through email, or I'm happy to schedule a phone call or Zoom (or if you have Marco Polo, that's my favorite way to chat back and forth) so we can get your questions answered efficiently. It's also really nice for us to meet "face (to screen) to face" because we can get to know each other better and get a better feel for if we're a good fit. It's important to feel comfortable with your photographer!
1. Say Hello
Your questions are answered and you're so excited to make it official! I'll send over a booking proposal where you'll select your session option, sign a contract and pay your creative fee. Once I sign too then you are OFFICIALLY BOOKED, YAY!
Once it's officially I'll send a detailed Senior Guide your way. That guide walks you both through every step of the process and includes a San Antonio location guide, a style guide, and all kinds of other ideas to get you thinking about how we can best celebrate your senior.
2. Schedule it
After you've had a chance to go through the Senior Guide, your senior will fill out a short questionnaire for me with her thoughts and preferences. This may sound like another assignment, but the guide and questionnaire really help get her thinking about things she may not have considered and let me organize all your information so I can best serve you both.
I LOVE collaborating with my seniors and am happy to have additional phone calls or Marco Polo chats throughout the planning process. I've had girls text me pictures from dressing rooms for feedback while they're out shopping and I love it when they feel comfortable enough with me to do that!
3. Planning it
AAAAHHH It's picture day! I checked in with you leading up to it to confirm starting time and parking details and last-minute tips and now you just have to get looking her looking her best and show up!
Seniors do NOT need to be models for this. They don't need to have any idea what to do in front of the camera - I will guide them and give cues the whole time. I promise I'll make it easy and laid-back and fun. I will capture them at great angles and in great light and I JUST LOVE THIS DAY!
4. Your Session
I know you are both so excited to get a glimpse of how things came out, so a few days after our shoot I'll post a few sneak peeks on Instagram. If you follow me, I'll be able to tag you both and that lets you repost to your page or stories too. So exciting!
In a couple weeks you'll get an email to access your full gallery. There you'll be able to see all your edited images, select your favorites and decide what you want to purchase. I can get to work creating custom announcement cards or accordion mini books (my FAVORITE little gift for grandparents) or any other heirloom artwork mom and dad may want, or if you prefer to DIY it the digital files are always an option too. Most people want the digitals and also love having me do the work of designing and ordering some products too...but no purchasing decisions are made until you see your pictures and know EXACTLY what you want.
5. Your Photographs

I am a full-service San Antonio senior photographer, which means I hold your hand through the entire process and make it as stress-free for you as possible to get amazing pictures and to get them made into products. When you're ready to book, you pay my creative fee that reserves your session and gets us going on the planning process, but you don't have to commit to any further purchasing decisions until you've seen your images and know exactly how much you love them.
About two weeks after our session you'll receive a gallery with your edited images. At that point you can decide exactly what you want. You can purchase just digital files, beautiful custom products designed by me, or any combination of the two.
The Investment Details
Cassey did an amazing job with my daughter's spring senior portraits! Prior to the session, my daughter regularly texted Cassey photos of outfit choices she was considering wearing to get feedback about which ones would photograph well.
Because the location we wanted the photos taken at was new to Cassey, she went a few days ahead of time and recorded her ideas for where we could get the best shots and sent them to me so that I knew where the best spots were. She really does her research!! After the photo session, Cassey had a few pictures edited and ready for us to view the very next day and we had the rest of the over 80 shots in less than a week!
Her work is beautiful and she remained professional the entire time. My daughter doesn't like to be photographed, but Cassey made her feel comfortable and confident. She ended up having a lot of fun! I highly recommend Cassey for senior pictures!
We absolutely loved working with Cassey for our Senior portraits! She was in communication with us all the way, picked an awesome location, knew exactly how to pose them for the perfect shot, was friendly, kind and professional. She spent quality time with our family ensuring we got everything we were hoping for and really made it a great experience. Most of all, the quality of the photos were amazing! Cassey recently did my daughter's senior graduation photos and they came out amazing. We were a little worried because the month of April was a bit rainy most days, but Cassey was able to arrange a morning photo shoot after it had just rained the night before and was overcast that morning, but the lighting and the way she was able to make the photos come out was more than we had expected. She stayed in contact with us the entire time of scheduling and answered all of our questions. She really put us at ease that she could work with the weather. And did I say they came out amazing, we couldn't be happier. Our previous photographer we had used for many years, recently moved up north and I was personally nervous about using a new one, but Cassey was great. I would highly recommend her for anyone interested in professional photographs. I hope to use her again for our entire family in the future.
